Creative Café: Nurturing Creativity and Community Through History
A collection of artworks created during the Creative Café workshops, held every Thursday morning at Tang Hall Library from October to December 2023.
Under the guidance of professional artists Gemma Wood and Rachael Ensoll, residents drew inspiration from the rich history and untold stories of Tang Hall found in the nationally significant Explore York Archives collections.
The Creative Café aimed to enhance participants' confidence, foster social interaction, provide a sense of belonging, alleviate loneliness, create a sense of place, and improve well-being.
We extend our heartfelt thanks to everyone who participated in these workshops, contributing to the vibrant tapestry of our community's creativity
